Kembara Australia 2008. Satu perjalanan yg membuka mata nyata dan juga mata hati, mencelikkan diri di bumi asing ini, untuk merungkai beberapa persoalan di jiwa, berkait rapat kehidupan yg telah ditempuhi selama ini. Siapa sangka elective posting ini, bakal menjadi sesuatu yg istimewa utk diingati utk selamanya. Bertemu kawan lama, kawan kepada kawan, adik kepada kawan, dan yg paling utama terjalin persaudaraan baru yg saya kira cukup mesra - lebih mesra berbanding dgn persahabatan baru di tanah air sendiri. Kagum saya dibuatnya!
InsyaAllah banyak lagi gambar bakal menyusul. Terima kasih tak terhingga diucapkan kepada sekalian penghuni rumah 1, Manallack Street (Rosman, Tiki, Awal, Syifa', Ariff Hamzah, Abe) - kemesraan dan kebaikan yg dihulurkan, tak mampu utk kami membalasnya, semoga Allah membalas budi anda dgn sebaik-baik balasan. Banyak yg patut dan dapat kami pelajari dari anda semua. Tak lupa juga kepada Mat Nor dan housematenya, dan terutamanya Ariff Izzudin (adik kepada Saidat).
Melbourne sekarang berada di dalam musim gugur - autumn. Suasanan yg cukup indah sekali dihiasi daun2 kuning berterbangan ditiup angin. Tapi apakan daya diri yang kurus ini tak mampu menahan angin dingin yg menghembus lalu. Mok pun tak tahan juga,haha...

Mission accomplished, alhamdulillah  , but I felt 'empty' when I returned to Kuantan, like something precious was snatched away from me, or something was incomplete despite of the accomplishment of the programme, or maybe something else. Perhaps I missed the crowd, the kampung folks and the committee. Sunyi.
What's left are the pictures, and some reports to be completed as well as a promise to Dr Samsul.
Attention people: Post mortem will be conducted during the 1st or 2nd week of the new block.

Pekan banjir
|
|
Pekan is flooded, spoiling our Public Health posting. The posting, dubbed as a jalan2 and observing posting instead became classes and read-your-books posting. Let see what i missed out so far, and will miss out too: Tembeling riverine clinic ( the most dreadful loss, haha),visit to factory, KMAM, BAKAS, malaria and dengue unit, food safety...n few more to be named. Hmm, takde rezeki kot. The priority right now is to get my white coat, stethoscope out of Sri Maulana, Pekan and hopefully that area is not affected by the flood 
Here's some pic of flood in Pekan. It's in the early stage of flood, but still the nurses hostel ( female colleagues were staying over there) became an an island within a night period. As usual, the heroes a.ka. us came immediately to the rescue...

Year 4 2007-2008
|

Year 4 2007-2008, nearly 6 years together, some friendships are the true ones, yet some are being tested, and only God knows the outcome of the latter. It is as if only through trials and tribulations that certain things will truly show its value and strength, and in every friendship, it deserve a trial of its own.

Mini Waterfall of IIUM Kuantan

I wish that i had more time taking pictures of this waterfall. The rain really put a halt in my effort of taking those pics.
It's just behind my hostel, and was not too deep into the forest. The rainy season seems to add up the water volume making it such a nice place to practice slow shutter speed technique for capturing waterfall landscape.
It's just another not-so-well-done trial, pasni kena gi lagi.

Others were busy collecting data, but i was busy collecting pics, hehe... What to do, it had became a very controversial habit among some people  , tp nak wat camne...
More pics will come after this. Public Health posting is a jalan2 posting, even our supervisor said that it is more towards non-methodological way of learning: u observe and ask more questions if u want to gain the knowledge of how health system is delivered outside the wall of the government hospitals.
